The Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from our estate vineyard in Los Olivos as well as a number of other carefully farmed vineyards with the Los Olivos AVA. This is over 50% of Brander's entire production and most popular wine. We are also celebrating our 44th year of harvest with this vintage. A remarkable value, this vintage is brimming with bright refreshing notes of grapefruit and nectarine.

Chemistry at Harvest: Average Brix: 23.5°B, Average ph: 3.35
Alcohol: 13.5% by Volume
Winemaking: All grapes were hand harvested. Fruit was destemmed and crushed and allowed approximately 0.5-1.0 hour skin contact before pressing. Wine was fermented in stainless and malolactic fermentation was prevented. The wine was mostly aged in stainless steel with only approximately 5% in neutral French oak.

The 2020 Sauvignon Gris is bright, intensely aromatic and taut, as wines from this variety tend to be. Jasmine, green apple, mint and pear add character to this finely cut, aromatic white.

Production: 105 cases
Muscat is one of the oldest and most diverse grape varietals planted. The 2020 estate Muscat was tank fermented in a dry style from the half acre of Muscat Blanc planted at the estate. This wine presents aromatic notes and flavors of apricot, passion fruit, and citrus flowers.
Composition: 100% Muscat Canelli
Aging: Three months in 100% stainless steel.

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc reserve wine offers bright juicy apple, peach, and citrus as well a medium-bodied, clean, crisp, delicious style on the palate. Au Naturel represents the finest blend from all of our stainless steel tank aged wine lots. The natural cork closure allows additional bottle aging if desired.

Aging: Nine months in 100% stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation was prevented.

Semillon, known for its golden skin, full body, and good acidity is commonly blended with Sauvignon
Blanc in a Bordeaux Blanc. With tropical fruit and melon flavors this wine will develop with notes of honey and marzipan over time. Made entirely of free run juice (not pressed) to retain the maximum bright freshness of the fruit.
Composition: 100% Semillon, free run (not pressed) juice
Aging: 9 months in neutral French Oak barrels
This blend of Burgundy/Alsatian varieties (41% Pinot Blanc, 39% Pinot Gris, 20% Chardonnay) is a marked departure from the usual Brander white wine portfolio. Earthy, crisp pear fruit with notes of toasted bread, this wine has aromas and flavors of a young, lightly oaked Alsatian white wine.
Composition: 45% Pinot Blanc, 34% Pinot Gris, 21% Chardonnay
Aging: 3 months in neutral French Oak barrels
