We are fortunate to be able to work with Chardonnay from La Presa Vineyard. It is a very familiar growing site for us. La Presa is just down the road from the Old Mission and sits on a gentle slope overlooking the Santa Ynez River. All grapes were hand harvested. Fruit was destemmed and crushed and allowed approximately 0.5-1.0 hour skin contact before pressing. Only the free run juice was used for this single vineyard designate. Wine was fermented and aged in neutral barrels for approximately 7 months. Malolactic fermentation was prevented
